Bachelor of Science in Information from the University of Navarra and Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid, Urdaci began his journalism career in Diario 16. In 1985 he joined the Radio, where he worked as a correspondent in Rome, and in 1998 was appointed deputy director of the Information Services TVE , while he was appointed presenter of the second edition newscast. Between 2000 and 2004 he was director of Information Services of TVE, while maintaining his position as host of the newscast 2.
Following his departure from public television, Alfredo Urdaci-takes his credit awards like the Golden Antenna and Antenna-Silver has collaborated on various TV channels as political analyst.
