For the fifth consecutive quarter, the Spanish advertising industry showing growth, completing the first half of 2015 with an average increase of 7.5% led by the TV, which has received an average investment marks a 12% higher than last year.
The i2p report published by Media Hotline and Media Arce from the second quarter of 2015 and the first half of analyzing year confirms the recovery of the sector, which had been falling steadily since 2008.
At the end of June 2015, ad spending had reached € 2.037 million, almost € 150 million more than does a year, while almost all media except print, are rising.
Although the Internet is where investment grows and radio also shows a clear recovery, television is the absolute winner growth. The air TV and pay accumulated at the end of June, more than 50% of the total invested. Between the first half of 2014 and 2015, investment in television grew by 9.7% to € 1.034 million. Such growth was only surpassed by online advertising, which grew more than 12%, but only represented an amount of almost € 200 million.
With industry and investment clearly on the rise since the beginning of the year, i2p report points to a growth scenario for the second half of the year, when the total investment will exceed € 4.000 million, of which television meet almost € 2,000 million.
