As confirmed HBO a publication Variety, are in contact to carry Watchmen to the small screen format TV Series . As expressed by the company through an official statement, “they have held initial discussions, but nothing is signed”.
HBO, in turn, seems to be holding talks with Zack Snyder (director of the film adaptation Watchmen) to enter the famous comic to the small screen. According to sources from Collider, the first meetings between HBO and Snyder have already taken place in relation to ownership of DC Comics. However no details on whether the director will participate in the project, or if the series will be based on the original novel, in the prequel, or if it could eventually be a sequel.
