The French Bouygues gruypo denies that wants to leave its activity in telecommunications and television, following rumors that the country’s first operator Orange is in talks to buy these divisions. Bloomberg news agency reported that Orange has started preliminary talks to buy telephony and television TF1, the most watched in the country, Bouygues. According to Bloomberg, Bouygues would retain a minority share. Orange, which comes from the former state monopoly France Telecom, also declined to confirm the talks.
In June, Bouygues and rejected an unsolicited takeover offer of ten billion euros of French Altice also.
