-> The Catholic Association for Communication ( Signis Spain ) and University Francisco de Vitoria in collaboration with the Department of Mass Communication at the Spanish Episcopal Conference, organized on 12 and 13 November, the IV SIGNIS-Spain Congress titled Possible Worlds in television fiction. . The golden age of television series
More and more young people recognize certain laziness for a complete film; prefer the 45 minutes it takes an episode of your favorite series, to the usual two hours of a movie.

The technology is changing the habits and the way we communicate between us, new generations grow up playing touch screens and link their emotional growth with the need to change the status of your WhatsApp or photo from Facebook or Twitter. Increased
television series has become a phenomenon that deserves a space to study with thoroughness and friquismo you need.

Somehow this increase in the production of television series is also expression of a change in subject that uses , while, like film, may be a reflection of himself and his environment.

> It all started in 2011 with the first Congress SIGNIS-Spain entitled The image of man in contemporary cinema, which revealed how the film (hence, also the TV series) show the demands of meaning that is within the human; for example, the need for justice, beauty, home or have a need for truth.

After gaze was extended with The image of faith in cinema and We saw how there is a thirst for the infinite, registered in the man who can satisfy those requirements and which is found in many contemporary films.

In the last edition, completed last October 2014, Spanish cinema was the center of the III Congress SIGNIS-Spain entitled The image of Spanish cinema .
In all editions always looked for this much-needed balance between the academic and the reality. On the one hand, perhaps the university’s own academic look, and, on the other hand, meeting with film industry professionals who provide a living testimony that allows the pulse of the film reality of the moment. Both perspectives are vital to throw a complete cultural judgment.
And as proof of this, over three editions, have benefited from the presence of filmmakers of the stature of Fernando Méndez Leite, Gracia Querejeta ( 15 years and one day , 2013), Alberto Morais or Juan Manuel Cotelo ( Mary’s Land , 2013).

And even had a national premiere screening of the documentary The salt of the earth , the German filmmaker Win Wenders ( Sky over Berlin ) Oscar nominee for best documentary in 2014 and winner of the Goya for best documentary
2014. This time will be several speakers, panel discussions and actions that will enable the next IV Congress SIGNIS- Spain become an occasion to go deeper than it is assuming this golden age of television series.
