This fantasy drama was downloaded at least 8.1 million times via BitTorrent, according to TorrentFreak. This has surpassed the competition in more illegal downloads.
Second is “The Walking Dead” with 4.8 million downloads pirate this year.
Game of Thrones is a success for HBO, and exceeded The Sopranos this year as the chain program most watched of all time.
