“ Tales from the Crypt ” or “ Tales from the Crypt ” was a American television series 90s , based in EC horror comics Comics William Maxwell Gaines. Lasted seven seasons he met a total of 93 episodes.
The first chapter of the memorable series was broadcast 1989 and the last in 1996 . However, the television network TNT said Thursday that will bring back to the screen funny and horrific stories told by the popular skull, after 10 years of its output air.
The executive producer of the project is M. Night Shyamalan , director of the film “sixth sense” -, who will work together with his partner Ashwin Rajan , who previously produced the television series “Wayward Pines”.
The program will return to end of 2016 , and although does not have a specific date in the notice stressed that will have a two-hour block in the channel’s programming .
“ I can not be more excited . Being part of a series so dear as’ Tales from the Crypt, “which grew seeing, and also be able to push the frontiers of television to the horror genre. It’s such an inspiring opportunity that can not wait to dive into it,” said Shyamalan.
