Aaron Sorkin will not write more scripts for television – La Vanguardia

Madrid. (EP) .- Aaron Sorki n, the successful series The Newsroom writer, among others, stated that he has no intention of rewriting more scripts TV . In an interview with Los Angeles Times , the writer confirmed that he would never write more stories for television, despite the success of the series The West Wing and The Newsroom

. “I understand the saying: Never Say Never , but I’m quite sure I’m writing my last chapter for television” Sorkin told. The writer said he has enjoyed writing scripts for television: “I enjoyed every minute of my time on television and had both successes and failures”

Sorkin told Los Angeles Times . had serious doubts about the third season of The Newsroom , which requested that the HBO hit series next season just under his script. Sorkin won an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2010 for the film The Social Network , which received the same recognition in the Bafta and Golden Globe. The West Wing was recognized Best Drama Series, won consecutive Emmy Awards from 2000 to 2003.

Sorkin wrote the script of biopic Steve Jobs also storybook ABC’s Sports Nigh and NBC’s Studio .
