One dead in stampede caused by shots on TV … – Lainformacion.com

One person was killed today in a stampede that originated on the premises of state television Burkina Faso after the military launched several shots into the air to disperse opposition supporters.

The death was confirmed by the director of state television, David Thiombiano , who said the victim did not receive any bullet.
