The Disney Channel announced Wednesday its plans to resurrect “Duck Tales”, the remembered series that premiered in the late eighties, and featuring the adventures of Scrooge McDuck and his nephews Huey, Dewey and Louis.
The series will keep the original title “DuckTales” and will launch in 2017, having as protagonists the greedy Uncle Scrooge, his crazy nephews and Donald Duck.
“DuckTales has a special place in the history of television animation of Disney. It was inspired by the stories of Carl Barks, a legend of Disney. Through their stories and their theatricality, Barks sets a standard for the lively entertainment that appeals to both children and adults, “said Mark Buhaj , senior vice president of programming at Disney. “Our new series will bring the same energy and spirit of adventure to a new generation,” said
