Two people were injured following an attack with an explosive at the headquarters of the company Televisa in the town of Matamoros (Tamaulipas), northeast of Mexico , where violence has intensified in recent weeks.
The Group Tamaulipas Coordination (GCT) said in a statement that the attack occurred at 21.30 local time (03.30 GMT) last night when suspects threw a bomb against Televisa facilities in the Northeast.
The explosive device was thrown at the parking lot of TV channel and hit the house of the guards, so that two of them were injured.
In addition to the injuries to the two guards, who were taken to a hospital for medical care, facade of the building resulted in property damage as a result of the blast.
On Wednesday, Mexican authorities have found an explosive device in the parking mayor of Matamoros, which was withdrawn unaffected by personnel of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena).
That day two new blocks were recorded in the Matamoros-Reynosa road, which were scattered by Tamaulipas state police force, hours after he passed away on Tuesday, nine people, eight of them in clashes with federal forces.
The state of Tamaulipas, which borders the United States, has for years been the scene of violent clashes between organized crime groups, mainly the Gulf Cartel and the Zetas, and between criminals and law enforcement.
