“Dreadstar” on its way to television – SanDiegoRed

Universal Cable Productions and BenderSpink have teamed with Jim Starlin, creator of the comic “Dreadstar” to bring television series on “Dreadstar”. Starlin will be executive producer and writer of the project.

The series will bring the character of the 80 of Marvel’s Epic Comics, “Vanth Dreadstar”, the lone survivor of the Milky Way galaxy and its crew, including “Syzygy Darklock hechichero cyborg” on a dangerous journey to end an ancient war between two evil empires, “Church of the Instrumentality” directed by “Lord Papal” and “Monarchy” directed by “King Gregzor”.

“Space Cosmic Opera Jim Starlin’s a good read, and it is time that” Vanth Dreadstar “makes its debut on television,” said Dawn Olmstead, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.

” I consider ‘Dreadstar’ as an extension of my family, so I took time to feel comfortable letting someone else in charge of the project was done. He took his time, but I’m sure I put my trust in the right team and I’m excited collaborate with Universal Cable Productions and BenderSpink to bring this unique brand of chaos to television, “said the creator, Jim Starlin.

It is not yet has no plot, actors, production date or anything, but BenderSpink also known to adapt the comic to the big screen with Illuminati Entertainment (of course they were going to do).
