Eye, that you are not pass to re-program your tv – Reporter.com.mx

from the next 27 October, there will be an adjustment in the channels of open television

MEXICO CITY (11/OCT./2016).- If you do not want to miss the open programming that you see usually in your tv, starting from the 27th of October you will have to reprogramarla, this way you will know the final location of the channels assigned to the signals at the national level.

If you don’t, you could miss nearly 50% of the available channels or not finding the signal designated to your preferred programming.

This reordering is so that the channels at the national level are seen in the same number across the country.

The only adjustment you have to make people with open television, if you have pay tv you don’t have to make any modifications.

To perform the reprogramming follow these simple steps:

If the Menu of your tv or set-top box is in English, change the language to Spanish to make it easier to reschedule.

1. Go to the Main Menu

2. Select Settings

3. Identifies any of these options (depending on the brand and model of the computer): auto channel Search, Autoprogramación, automatic Programming, automatic Tuning, automatic Search or Find Channels (or something similar).

4. Select Antenna-Air

5. And then wait for the reprogramming process on your computer to detect the new order of the channels.

With the transition to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) has generated a number of benefits as the multiprogramación that allows the audiences to have a greater choice of channels, and is that where previously only traveled a channel to receive it in analogue form today can travel a higher number of signals, thus generating the possibility of licensees to offer a greater variety of content on a same channel. That is why now you see a .1, .2 or .3 on your favorite channel.

What is a virtual channel?

Is the number that identifies the channels of Digital Terrestrial Television, in particular, is the number that appears on your tv.

it Is called “virtual” because its identification can be defined regardless of their physical location. Before the TDT only see a number for the channel on your tv, now the virtual channel will be composed by a primary number and a secondary number; for example: 17.1, 20.1, 32.1

So will be some channels:

- The channel 13 will now be the 1.1
– The channel 40 will be in the 1.2
– Channel 7 will be left as the 7.1
– The new chain of television will be seen in the 3.1
– The channel 2 will be tuned now in the 2.1
– The channel 11 will be in the 11.1
