Studio Ghibli continues to change its course after your new status without Hayao Miyazaki. The study, the author of some of the best asian films of animation, such as My Neighbor Totoro or spirited away, has decided to change the medium and leave behind 30 years of tradition film to try his luck on the small screen.
The project that will kick off in the new medium is the Ronja: The Robber”s Daughter, which consists of a total of 26 episodes based on a novel by Astrid Lindgren, author of Pippi Longstocking. This account of the adventures of a group of thieves led by a young man.
The series, which has already been released in Japan, is directed by Goro Miyazaki, the son of the master. In the west will premiere on the online platform of Amazon Prime, although it has not transcended a possible release date. The actress Gillian Anderson, known for her role as Agent Dana Scully in the X files, will be the narrator in the dub in English.
