Islamabad 1 sep.- Pakistan state television was attacked today by opponents calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and who cut emissions channel momentarily, Efe reported an official source.
Some 400 protesters broke at noon at the headquarters of Pakistan Television (PTV) in Islamabad after climbing walls and reduce security guards, a police spokesman said.

Soon after, Army troops evicted the protesters from PTV, which resumed its broadcasts.

The violence erupted on Saturday night when protesters tried to reach the residence of Prime Minister of Pakistan.
