By Jill Serjeant (Reuters) – Six months after the “#Oscarssowhite” (Oscar white), which hit the awards of the cinema world’s most important, the Emmy television show a different story and a lot more colorful. Up to 21 actors from across the spectrum of ethnic have been nominated for the Emmy this year. For the first time in the 68 year history of the highest recognition of television, men of color were nominated in the six categories of actor. Not just here. The organizers of the Emmy nominated this year to series like “Mr. Robot”, starring the egyptian actor american Rami Malek who plays a hacker socially awkward; Black-ish,” the comedy of an african-american family; “Master of None”, created by actor Aziz Ansari and his fellow screenwriter, asian american, Alan Yang; and the mini-series of FX that recreates the trial for the double murder of O. J. Simpson in 1995, seen from the prism of race relations in modern america. “Bravo at the Television Academy and the television industry in general by marking the trail for the rest of the industry,” said Gil Robertson, president of the Association african-American Film Critics. “they Are responding to their audiences. Have paid clearly attention and you are showing respect to the various population groups that they serve. Is smart business,” added Robertson. Part of the greater diversity in television is due to the large number of fictions – currently some 400 – now available in the general channels of cable and on the platforms of ‘streaming’ as Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. The tv also has a delivery time faster than the movies, which can take years to develop and get to the cinemas. Free of the demands of advertisers in the new platforms, the producers are taking more risks with the content and delivery, and the television general has taken note of both in front of and behind the cameras.
