Start the Cartoon Forum, bridge between television and animation … – Radio Intereconomía

Paris, 23 sep.- The Cartoon Forum, a platform where you will find the European animation industry and the world of television, started today in the French city of Toulouse with 850 representatives of the audiovisual sector in 33 different countries.

The “Pink City”, a town in southern France until next Friday will be the scenario in which the producers of 84 series animated TV will present their projects to potential investors and buyers, dressed up for receive family of TV cartoons.

The cloister of the Convent of the Jacobins, a superb building of the thirteenth century, marked the opening of the Cartoon Forum, where from morning sessions and 10 40 minutes will be screened 500 hours of -terminadas series or developing to potential investors or buyers as television or technology companies.

The event, in which France leads with thirty percent of scheduled jobs, will showcase six productions with Spanish label, all aimed at the little ones.

This year, among other innovations, the meeting devoted a section exclusively to animation for the advertising market and event scheduled film sessions and concerts for the general public.

The Cartoon Forum, sponsored mainly by the Media Programme of the European Union (EU) has favored in its 25 years of existence 1,800 million financing euros in audiovisual projects, according to organizers. EFE
