The Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) gave reason to Caracol TV and RCN Television in the dispute that held up for a couple of years ago with operators subscription. By court ruling he ordered cable operators to refrain from rebroadcast private channels in both analog
signal and high definition without permission. The decision shelters Telmex (Claro), Telefónica, DirecTV, ETB and UNE.
