TV ad spending will surpass the barrier of … – Rapid TV News Spain

Later this year, ad spending on television in Spain rub the € 2,000 million, an amount that is expected to exceed over 2016 but far from the more than € 3.500 million achieved before the crisis in 2008, according to the latest predictions Arce Media.

During the first quarter of 2015, the TV has accumulated almost half of the total invested by advertisers in the media, ie € 452 million investment, which means an increase of 8.9% over the same period of 2014. However, it is expected that growth will cool towards the end of the year. The average growth data shed an increase of 6.6% in December 2015, and the TV will join nearly € 2,000 million a year, so far, confirms the sector’s recovery after six consecutive years of declines.

The TV is the only means of communication traditional exiting the crisis in a leadership position, while newspapers and magazines are far from showing a real recovery.

Although no specific data on platforms online video platforms and over-the-top (OTT) Internet ad spending will grow this year by 14% and accumulate € 440 million at the end of 2015.
