consumption streaming -system that allows Internet videos while they descargan- is to overcome the conventional television , according to a new study by Ericsson ConsumerLab.
Interviews have been made to people between 16 and 59 years old in the following countries: Brazil, China, Germany, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, United Kingdom and the United States , according to the newspaper Tech Insider .
The use of television and video on demand as Netflix , YouTube or Hulu has increased by 20 points in the last five years and has passed around 30 percent in 2010 to more than 50 percent this year , as shown in the figure below.
During the same period, the percentage of people say watching broadcast TV through providers such as Comcast or DirecTV , has been reduced by 10 percent .
When the beige line exceeding the other violet, this means that they outnumber those who watch streaming content on television traditional.
For Anders Erlandsson, Senior Advisor of the Ericsson Consumer Lab, the projection is nothing more than five years to become a reality .
So Ericsson confirms that a growing number of Americans , especially young people, choose modes of consumption and flexible instant that offer traditional television.
The report Ericsson realizes, among other reasons, the wide range of possibilities to access audiovisual content without hiring the services of a cable or satellite provider, or pay for it .
