Tucuman will have two new Open Digital Television signals – The Journal 24

The AFSCA Friday approved the award of the first six Licensing service open digital terrestrial television (TDTA) granted by public tender for operators without profit, of which two will be for the province of Tucuman.

At the 62nd meeting of the body, the directors resolved the award by public tender of new radios, opening a new line of FOMECA, and the launch of a web application that will speed up authorization network transmissions.

As part of the digitization, eight new technical frequency plans for localities TDTA Rio Cuarto (Cordoba), Santa Rosa (La Pampa), Chilecito (also approved La Rioja), San Luis (San Luis), General Roca and Viedma (Black River) and Rio Grande and Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego). In addition, the call for a new line of FOMECA 2015 to allocate a total of 5 million pesos to audiovisual projects of social organizations and indigenous peoples was announced. The new call will compete subsidies for three formats: production of spots, with amounts up to $ 60,000, documentaries firmware or fictional, with grants of up to $ 230,000, and weekly television programs, which funds up to $ 650,000 per project.

Moreover, under Article 62 of the Law on Audiovisual Communication Services, based on the authorization of the broadcasting network, the board approved the launch of a new web application that will facilitate the presentation by holders of radio broadcasting services, applications provided by the standard for networking. This tool will be available from next November 1 and will implement the procedure quicker and more efficiently.

At the meeting held at the headquarters of AFSCA, the board approved the award by public tender of FM Sarmiento (Chubut), two in Forest (Santiago del Estero), four in General Pico (La Pampa) and a FM and one AM in Iguazu (Misiones). 3 also awarding FM Puan (Buenos Aires), Rodeo (San Juan), San Luis (San Luis), and Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut); Cable and cooperative in San José of the Sleeping (Córdoba).
