The well of repressed desires – Milenio.com

Loved, hated, television is more than a means of communication, it is a lifestyle, a way of understanding reality, to feel it, to reproduce it.

There are many ways to see each one of the windows that make up this industry, from the powerful broadcast TV to sophisticated systems for distributing content online.

Moving on, of course, for public television, cable and direct antennas home, television premium , the contents of the internet services traveling on our cell phones and more, much more.

Today is a holiday for television national, because this September 1 marks 65 years since the first official broadcast was done in this country.

I guess most of our major TV networks offer extraordinary productions dedicated to remember and analyze the best moments of each of its channels.

The only thing I want to do is celebrate this date and sensitize the younger generation about the importance of television in Mexico.

And before they start controversial, yes, I must clarify that prior to the alleged transmission number one, to the report of President Miguel Aleman of September 1, 1950, there was no one but many transmissions.

From the experiments legendary Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena to broadcast events of different cuts that are documented in any number of newspapers of the time.

Here, as elsewhere, an official date is defined and respect.

How do you want to tell the history of television in Mexico? Since a technical perspective, politics, business, university or contents?

Here we can spend all day talking about the great pioneers of the contributions, news, soap operas, children’s programs, cartoons, sports or whatever you want.

To me what interests me most is to imagine Mexico without television. There is a before and after the arrival of this invention

The TV got something nobody else had done until then.. Unite with images, live, to a fragmented country in different regions

This case, which has never had a silly hair, showed Mexicans Mexico, which joined the world and catapulted him to the five continents.

It is a prodigious creation that put the history to the most intimate corners of our homes, which has made us live the happiest events, and also the saddest, in the last 65 years.

From the man on the moon to the earthquake 1985 through the 2000 elections, the music of The Beatles, the World Cup and the Olympics.

If someone has put us to sing, to dance, to laugh and mourn in the past six decades has been the television magazine program, varieties, with their comedies and melodramas.

Where the television model that we have in Mexico from? The advisory Guillermo González Camarena and Salvador Novo gave the German president after having traveled the world looking at what was done in other countries.

The Mexican television was born as private companies almost always derived from radio or newspapers. After public and cultural television emerged.

The result is a monumental salad where we have gone from Chespirito Octavio Paz, Veronica Castro Maria Felix, Raul Velasco Pati Chapoy, Jacobo Zabludovsky Javier Alatorre and Jose Vasconcelos to Werevertumorro.

Our television is one of the richest in the whole planet, but nothing more money. It is rich for what you have created. For all that has occurred.

Perhaps you loved the historical soap operas Don Ernesto Alonso, as Path of Glory , or worshiped the teaching of Miguel Sabido, as Come with me.

Maybe you fascinated by talk shows , Laura and Facts of Life , or entertainment magazines such as Sabadazo and Rachel and Daniel.

No matter what you like it or not, what matters is that since 1950 we have chosen and all we are left with who we wanted.

Even when we have seen something through internet or cable and direct-to-home antennas.

Although we speak of cult series such as Breaking Bad , Japanese animations as Dragon Ball Z or K-Dramas as fine as Autumn Sonata , the support for dissemination has always put someone in one way or another part of the national television industry.

So today is a holiday. So today is a day to remember programs, faces channels.

Happy Birthday, Mexican TV! Thank you for all you have given us! Lets go for more! Never ponds! Do not stop! We need you! Do not tell me not?
