Aaron Sorkin , writer of the successful series The Newsroom which opens this Monday in Spain its third and final season, among others, stated that there he has no intention of rewriting more scripts for television. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the Director also confirmed that it would write more stories for television, despite the success of the series The West White House wing and The Newsroom
“I understand the saying: ‘Never say never’, but I’m quite sure I’m writing my last chapter for television.” said Aaron Sorkin referring to this year closes The Newsroom after the bad reviews it has received the number by the utopian world of journalism posed. The writer noted that “I have enjoyed every minute of my time on television and had both successes and failures.”
Aaron Sorkin told Los Angeles Times that he had serious doubts about the third season of The Newsroom , so he asked HBO to the series becoming only the following season under his script.
Aaron Sorkin won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay in 2010 for the film The Social Network , which received the same recognition in the Bafta and Golden Globe. In the small screen successes will not have resisted and The West Wing White House was recognized as Best Drama Series, Emmy Awards won consecutively from 2000 to 2003.
