A group of surfers out a call in social networks to march against what they call “trash TV”. The event is agreed for Friday February 27.
This initiative is promoted by a group called ‘Let’s go to Las Calles Peru’ that seeks to protest some television content they broadcast local channels. The event will take place in San Felipe, Jesus Maria, America Avenue near the canal. So far more than 3000 users have confirmed their presence and more are expected to join the up .
“Let’s go out to the streets to earn respect, no more trash series no more junk programs or scandals on national television. In our hands is the future of the nation “, are some of the slogans that appear in the event description. “Let not the media show us garbage as they become millionaires,” they add.
The call published in Facebook has unleashed all kinds of comments from users, some encourage initiative and others argue that everyone is free to choose who looks on TV.
