Steven Spielberg comes to television – El Nuevo Diario

The Steven Spielberg movie “Minority Report” will have a second life on television from September 21, the date on which debuts as science fiction series in the United States, a plot that serves sequel to the film and features Wilmer Valderrama among its players.

The police drama is the first film production of Spielberg to adapt to the small screen and can be seen on Fox, where history will resume 10 years after the events in the film 2002 that led Tom Cruise.

The program is set in the year 2065, in which there is no longer split “pre-crime” of which it was Cruise, that was dismantled, and in which three brothers with ability to see the future that had been enslaved in the film by the authorities to exploit their talent, live camouflaged with the rest of us.

Imagination

In the series, justice rests on supercops armed with new technologies, from personal drone to backpacks with thrusters and other weapons devised by Spielberg, as said Valderrama, who plays Lieutenant Will Blake.

“We are reinventing police tactics,” said the actor of “That 70s Show”, which was proud to represent a character who “believes in the system and in society” and that is “good” to “fight crime “.

” It can be a great character for the Latino community, “said Valderrama, even though the agent Blake does not appear at the hearing as Hispanic.

“The Latino community needs more positive characters, that made me reject others (roles) they offered me,” said the conscious interpreter.

“On the set alive the dream of every child every day, play with some of the craziest gadgets and technologies. I’ve never done anything like this, “he said Valderrama considers this series a big step forward in his career.

The film of Steve Spielberg is one of the ten highest grossing US within the category of science fiction after raising $ 132 million, while its worldwide box office amounted to more than $ 350 million, according to Box Office Mojo.
