death of two journalists was broadcast live by a television channel in the United States after a gunman shoot them in full transmission.
The victims are Alison Parker, 24, and Adam Ward, 27, who played as a reporter and cameraman (respectively) of WDBJ-TV, the station CBS affiliate in Roanoke, Virginia.
The journalist was beginning an interview with a guest when suddenly eight shots are heard, the camera turns and falls to the floor, while cries are heard.
The incident occurred when the journalists conducting the interview in a shopping center in Moneta, Virginia, police said.
The station chief, Jeffrey Marks, subsequently appeared in a broadcast in which he said that his colleagues had been killed at 6:45 am local time.
The governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe said:.. “We believe the shooter reporters was a disgruntled employee”
“It’s not a case of terrorism is a criminal case “he said.
Fugitive
The suspect has been identified as Vester Lee Flanagan, 41, according to the sheriff’s Augusta County.
The spokesman, Jean Sepulveda said that man traveling in a car with Virginia plates, “is considered armed and dangerous,” he said.
Meanwhile, Police are on the scene at the mall in Bridgewater Moneta square.
Jeffrey Marks said: “The police are working very diligently to discover the motive and the person responsible for this terrible crime.”
Also said the two journalists “were in romantic relationships with other members of our team.”

Shortly after the attack, Chris Hurst, a presenter of WDBJ7, Tuito Parker and he” had begun to live together “ and had been dating for about nine months.
“It was the best nine months of our lives. We wanted to get married. We had just celebrated his birthday” tweeted Hurst.
Marks said later in an interview with CNN that the promised Adam Ward also works at the station and was in the control room when the shooting occurred.

The station reported that the woman being interviewed for a story on tourism and was identified as Vicki Gardner, survived the attack.
Some media report that was injured in the back and is undergoing surgery.
