For two children’s television channel Discovery Kids Paka Paka and emit episodes of the animated series The Little Prince . In the first of these channels, the program is on weekdays at 18, Saturdays at 17 and Sundays at 20:30. Discovery Kids, the animated character created by Saint-Exupery series is Friday at 20. The program is a French production, held in 2010, with the name Le Petit Prince and came to our country on Discovery Kids in 2011. Paka Paka, he joined the grid in March 2015.
The program has 52 episodes and in it, the Prince visit 24 different planets. Audiovisual history in the small screen version is based on the book that Saint-Exupery wrote in 1943, but develops new stories that do not appear in it. In the program’s character leaves his planet and her friend La Rosa to explore different worlds in the galaxy, accompanied by his new friend the Fox and to prevent an evil (The Cobra) and his assistants (the dark and negative thoughts) sow chaos in the universe. For CG animation techniques they were used last generation. The adaptation process took 10 years and it actively participated Olivier d’Aggay, nephew of Saint-Exupery. Currently it is conducting a new season of the program, consisting of 26 new episodes, half an hour each. .
