The HBO announced yesterday that from now issue new episodes of Sesame Street , educational children’s series starring a cast of puppets led by Abelardo huge yellow bird and red monster, Elmo.
The agreement runs for five seasons and does not neglect the PBS (the US public broadcaster that had on your screen to the program since its inception in 1969), which may deliver new episodes, although nine months after they are shown on HBO.
The deal allows the nonprofit Sesame Workshop, which created the program organization, to double the number of episodes of each season, given the financial support provided by the cable channel.
