Barbara Mori returns to television after nearly a decade with the series Two moons, of which he will star and producer.
The actress has said that this new project was motivated by a process of questioning her role as a woman.
“I lived a process in my life as a woman, beyond being an actress, where suddenly there came a day when I stood before the mirror and I said, ‘Who am I, beyond this famous, successful woman? Who I am, what I want from my life? ‘”Mori said Monday at a press conference, reported AP.
“I started a process of internal search in which I follow,” the Uruguayan-Mexican actress, “but I have found many answers and have a stream of questions yet.”

Two moons
series premiered in Latin America on Feb. 18, telling the story of Soledad, a woman with a split personality who is a psychologist and also a mysterious underground DJ named Luna.
each of the 13 episodes, Soledad examine their patients to solve cases ranging from nymphomania to a man who wants to be a woman.
“I seek things that make me take the chance to continue to grow as an actress, things that move me inside,” express Mori. The actress made group therapy and met with psychologists to delve into his character.
“We tried many things to carry the split personality disorder Soledad most stuck to reality,” he said. “I took classes DJ, I bought my turntables, I tried to prepare as best I could to bring the characters to life.”
Mori, who starred in telenovelas woman look and Azul tequila, says no plans to return “at the moment” to melodramas.
Although
