Television Atresmedia interested in recovering the space it occupies … – ADSLZone TV

According to The Digital Confidential, Atresmedia TV could be making efforts to try to reach an agreement for the termination of the contract that allows Gol TV emit pay DTT . The broadcaster has not hidden his intention to recover as soon as possible this space. Antena 3 inherited this commitment to the merger with LaSexta and had to take a clear disadvantage against Mediaset Spain who now runs the same two channels on DTT. Gol TV has ensured its presence in digital terrestrial television until the late 2015

Unless both parties to reach a budget agreement before allowing Atresmedia TV terminate the contract, something that despite the potential interest of the audiovisual group of San Sebastian de los Reyes seems unlikely considering that this agreement could mean the final death of Gol TV, which now has only possibility to broadcast via DTT under the agreement that sealed PRISA and Mediapro two years ago.

Removing channels conducted last May is disrupting plans Television Atresmedia happened imposed by the minimum in the struggle for Mediaset Spain audiences, losing every battle. In the group believe they need to recover channels. The problem as always is economic and spend the money to put on the table to compensate Mediapro.

In any case does not seem to go away to make any decisions in the short term, further taking of through a competition license DTT is still unclear as is to be managed by the Ministry of Industry. Probably before dispense with Gol TV, try to get some Atresmedia Television DTT license in this contest.
