The corruption scandal that rocked the FIFA continues to add new chapters and now researchers put the magnifying glass on the sale of rights for the transmission of competitions organized by FIFA.

According to reports, the company Mountrigi Management Group Ltd, owned by Miguel Ten of Urdanivia and Maurice Simon Fajer, rights traded without any competition thanks to the efforts of Joseph Blatter.

Mountrigi Management Group Ltd has the license for the UEFA Champions League until 2018 and has permission to sell in Latin American countries, without intermediaries.

On November 12, 2012, Televisa Mexico and Videoserpel Ltd. were merged as a result of the Mexican giant business decision remained with all the rights that the other company was in possession. However, a month later, on December 14, Televisa aired him under contract Assignment of Rights, “the ownership of the rights to Videopersel Ltd company incorporated under the laws of Switzerland”, in the words of Dietschi. Four days later, Videopersel change its name to Mountrigi Management Group Ltd.

As stated in the official documentation of the FIFA, Mountrigi managed licensing rights for transmission-for example Cup Women’s World Cup to be held in Canada this year. And a subsidiary of Televisa Mexico got customers in record time: in Argentina the rights were transferred to the company Tournaments and International Competitions International and DirecTV and DirecTV Latin America. In Bolivia, DirecTV Latin America; in Colombia, Mountrigi Management Group sold the license to Caracol TV, RCN Television and DirecTV Latin America.

The researchers are trying to determine what was the mechanism by which a private company is a licensee of the FIFA largest business without there being a public and transparent auction where they had been able to present various television.
