The legislation requires television companies to disclose information about their owners, also empowers the National Council of Television and Radio solicit other entities the necessary data on the structure of the companies.
The Ukrainian Rada called Russia in January of an aggressor State for alleged involvement in the conflict in Donbas, which Moscow flatly rejects.
In addition, the new military doctrine of Ukraine pending the president’s signature Petro Poroshenko, defines Russia as a military adversary.
