Born LN+: the television signal of THE NATION – THE NATION (Argentina)

a Positive, constructive, contemporary and global. All of these attributes are part of the vision of LN+ (THE NATION), the first television signal of THE NATION that will offer a new window to access to the best of its contents. The key aspects of the proposal will be present, the analysis and the human stories, betting from these pillars to provide looks different and deeper reality, within a schedule that includes news, segments analysis, formats, daily news, documentaries and cycles of lifestyle and art.

LN+ will be a signal essentially journalistic and topical. The main news segment will be led by Dolores Cahen D’anvers and John Miceli, and will count with the participation of Carlos Pagni, Joaquín Morales Solá, Jorge Fernández Díaz, Hugo Alconada Mon, Jose Del Rio, and Laura Zommer, director of Chequeado.com. Will also participate in the news the journalists of THE NATION Claudio Jacquelin, Paul Sirvén, Jorge Liotti, Florence Donovan, Francisco Olivera, Guillermo Tomoyose and José Crettaz, among many others. Some of the journalists and drivers that are added to the schedule are Diego Sehinkman, Maria Freytes, Diego Iglesias, Gisela Busaniche, Peto Menahem, Jimena Grandinetti, Eleonora Cole, Mariana Arias, Diego Sucalesca and Martina Rúa. In addition, the chef Fernando Trocca will lead a cooking show, and the musician Juanchi Baleirón other music. Both, with full access to the back of these worlds and their protagonists.

The decision to convert to THE NATION a strong player in the audiovisual world had its kick-off in 2015 with the cycle of interviews, Conversations in THE NATION, awarded this year by the Group of Newspapers America (GDA) in the category “editorial Proposal innovative”. Earlier this year we deepened that way with THE NATION’s PM, news on demand of the digital platform, driven by John Miceli.

LN+ transmit live programs from the middle of the Newsroom, and will be available from November through DirecTV and Cablevision, but also in all digital devices, a new platform hosted on www.lanacion.com.ar. There will all its content, in a simple way, with a focus on the user experience, and so context-sensitive and shareable.

The understanding of change as a stage of opportunities has marked the recent history of THE NATION. Thus was born the 17 of December 1995, the first daily digital media of national circulation: THE NATION Online. At that time, was visited by a little more than 1500 users. Last August, the digital products of THE NATION were visited by more than 6.4 million unique users, with leadership in the platform mobile.

In this context, nace LN+. The expression of a new air of change that rests on the pillars of: good journalism and quality content. Two values that, for those who vibrate with the information and the great stories never go out of fashion.
