In-house tv production company Latin World arrived today at its 30th anniversary, with more than 500 documentaries that are taxed to the preservation of the historical memory of Cuba.
In the event, held in the Memorial José Martí, Marta Carvajal, director general of the center, argued that their files are kept audio-visual materials on congresses of the Party, the arrival of the remains of Ernesto Guevara, as well as of the international solidarity of the cuban nation with the orb.
he Pointed out that Latin World, together with the National Fund of Environment and other scientific institutions, currently develops the project nature’s secret, with the aim of disseminating the national strategy for environmental.
Ernesto Almaguer, deputy director of the production company, told ACN about the creation of a web site and an institutional profile on Facebook to increase the promotion of the center in the Internet and social networks.
The manager added that, in close collaboration with the International Press Center, will provide production services to television stations foreign interested in addressing the reality of cuba.
Also have working agreements with the production houses of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) and other institutions of the country.
During the ceremony, recognized the work of some of its founders, among them Walterio Lord, Octavio Carrera, Pedro Perez and Enrique Prendes.
Latin World emerged with the purpose of spreading the image of the Greater Antilles in any part of the world, and his main line of work is the realization of documentary films with themes of interest social, economic, political and cultural.
