For the third year in a row, launches call for proposals for audiovisual productions in order that the citizens may put forward their own interests
The Corporation Oaxacan Radio and Televisión (CORTV) presented this Thursday the call for the reception of audiovisual productions 2016, a space that emerged as a need for citizens to be able to raise their own interests, through the frequencies of radio and television of this corporation.
In a press conference held in the Museum of Oaxacan Painters, the director of CORTV, Emilio De Leo White, explained that the Advisory Council Citizen of the CORTV will receive the proposals from the 17 of October of this year and through January 17, 2017.
he Indicated that the CORTV will open its radio frequencies and television productions, college and independent for the submission of reports, programmes in original languages, magazines, capsules, tables analysis or discussions, video clips, discussions, short films, animations, radio-art, series, among others.
he Added that in February will be announced the works selected to start its broadcast from march next year. It is worth mentioning that subscribes to a provisional permit of broadcast license for a year with the authors of the selected works.
he Emphasized that this call, which is issued for the third consecutive year, seeks to recognize the work of students, organizations and independent producers, to incorporate citizen proposals to the programming of radio and television of this public environment.
he Explained that in 2014 emerged this first exercise, where it received 60 submissions, from which the spread 14 of radio and 23 television, adding up to a total of 37.
While in 2015 it is received 63, of which 53 were presented in the signals of CORTV. Of this universe, 14 were in the frequencies of radio and 39 television.
Leo White emphasized that this call is not only to convey the productions that come to the CORTV, but that the corporation itself performs its own production, where he engages in a dialogue with the filmmakers to get to know your own perspective, how they observe the state, problems and how they are addressed in the visual language.
he Emphasized that in the CORTV there is not censorship or restriction, but all projects have to pass through the filters of a Code of Ethics and Manual of Style that has been developed by the corporation and the Advisory Council of the Citizen.
he Stressed that the CORTV is a public environment that has a presence in the state through 33 radio stations and 16 television stations digital, which can tune the content.
the meeting was attended by independent producers, Daniela Molina Florean and Manuel Abishay Torres Hernández, who participated in the call last year and were able to transmit their work entitled "The rights to live in all languages", through capsules of radio and the way in which they celebrate the festival in days one and two of November in Capulálpam de Méndez.
