TV series about old cars in Cuba | El Nuevo Dia – The New Dia.com

Despite the lack of resources and not having parts and spares, a group of Cuban has maintained classic cars Americans over 70 years in perfect condition.

“Cuban Chrome”, produced by Discovery Channel and Pilgrim Studios, is the first completely American series that is recorded in Cuban territory.

According with Discovery, permits for the production of this program were granted before the US government announced last December the restoration of diplomatic relations with Cuba.

Once obtained the permits for series by the governments of the United States and Cuba, the production team moved to the island and began recording in July 2014.
