Without digital television, 33% of households in the country in June 2015 – The Universal

The National Survey on Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Households ( ENDUTIH) 2015 revealed that 33% of households did not have access to digital television to June 2015.

the survey was conducted on a sample of 80 thousand 847 homes across the country during the second quarter 2015 and applied for over six years, found that 46.8% of households depended on an analog television, 23.7% had a digital screen, 23% had both technologies and 7.5% had no TV, said Arturo Blancas, director General Statistics National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).

The ENDUTIH 2015 cost 67 million pesos, a figure that contrasts with the 9 million pesos Module on Availability and Use of Technology Information in Households (MODUTIH) survey on the same subject after 2001 was 2014.

at a press conference, Julio Santaella, chairman of the Governing Board INEGI, said that of 67 million pesos, the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) contributed 28 million, the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT) 10200000 and the institute in charge of the 28.7 million remaining.
