YouTube prepares pay television service live – La Nacion Costa Rica

The video service online YouTube, a subsidiary of Google / Alphabet, plans to launch next year a subscription service that provides live access to TV channels , Bloomberg reported, citing sources close to the case.

According to the report, YouTube and have adapted their technique and held discussions with most major US television infrastructure groups, including NBC Universal, Viacom, CBS and Fox 21st.

However, it would not yet achieved the broadcasting rights for the new service, to be called Unplugged .

Spokesmen for YouTube did not want to comment on the report.

Since last year YouTube already offers a paid option called Red , which lets you view content without advertising
