The actor Bryan Cranston returns to television with a series on the figure of specializing in science fiction author Philip K. Dick, reported Tuesday the trade magazine Variety.
the project is titled Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick and will be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Channel 4
“This is a dream. electrical come true, “said Cranston in a statement to the publication. “We are delighted to explore and expand the themes found in his incredible literary work,” he said.
Ronald D. Moore ( Battlestar Galactica , Outlander ) and Michael Dinner ( Justified ) will be the writers and executive producers of the series.
Electric Dreams illustrate the prophetic visions of Dick, who died in 1982, and will celebrate the work of known novelist, who inspired films like Minority Report or Total Recall .
