Mexico City A total of 98 percent of Mexican households have at least one television, 56 percent of the population has access to broadcast television; and 81 percent watch TV channels open as a source of entertainment and information in accordance with the First National Survey of consumption of audiovisual content, prepared by the Federal Telecommunications Institute.
The survey it was applied to 8 000 750 users in urban and rural areas, seven years old to over 65 years, who in 64 percent of cases they said they see more often the so-called Canal de las Estrellas Televisa; 47 percent of TV Azteca Channel 13; 37 percent Canal 7; 36 percent Channel 5 and 17 percent Gala TV, more taste for telenovelas.

In the radio segment, 40 percent of respondents said radio listening, preferably by content type music, news and entertainment. Eight out of ten people listen to the radio at home; 74 percent reported using this service through a stereo or recorder; 17 percent do so using a cell phone and 14 percent listen by car or public transport.
Six percent of the population listen to Internet radio, because you can find reruns or podcast.
