knew this book before I was born as such. I’ve been reading for almost a decade. Month after month, year after year, as in centuries past read the best and most exciting writings for delivery.

And this book Paquita Weapons, which from the title itself announces how much spoken in Cuba of the TV, and how much she has also spoken of television, our television, your television, is a course of years that this medium offers placed inside our homes. It is therefore very close book, that even if like me, many discover texts gathered here and read in the Cayman Bearded , or the Jiribilla , or CubaDebate , or Cubarte , or in the portal of television … is this also now, a new book. Gather here again because the texts of different times and circumstances, Paquita manages them to talk, to complement, to form a whole, a body.

Here are gathered, with absolute honesty of a woman who understands her best intellectual input from critics committed and responsible, passionate and accurate, useful texts, full transparency, not to mention that the soap opera of the day, the teleplay that shocked or bored, or comedy show is being billed as the most stellar of all who have done since the Tremendous Court, and then turns out to be, makes us think, reason about the TV we have and we should have: the Cubans we deserve.

It is a book of the moment and forever, to which we return, beyond which change the soap opera that is this another summer and programming to be announced, according to the television itself, now achieved all tastes, it is a book reasoning rather than facts or concrete proposals on a way to make, to produce, because it deals with and tries to investigate, and then express everything related to the national tradition of television production.

In this book I have seen, I imagined Paquita, all the time, always in front of his TV. Do not know how she has managed, because also I always see at UNEAC, and the Cayman, and the snail, and as an area of ??controversy has been opened to talk about the media and how to build a real country, is mean a better country, from television ours.
