PEKÍN.-China Central Television said Sunday that the two victims were school students Jiangshan Middle School in Zhejiang Province, eastern China. He cited a fax from Asiana Airlines, which operated the plane that crashed, and the government of Jiangshan City. The students were identified as Wang Ye and Linjia Mengyuan.
The airline said the victims were 16 years old.
Of the 291 passengers on board, 141 were Chinese. At least 70 Chinese students and teachers were on the plane that was heading to summer camp, according to the Chinese educational authorities.
Robert Foucrault, forensic San Mateo County, Calif., told the San Jose Mercury News (http://bit.ly/153cW8X) that apparently one of them was thrown from the back of the plane when the queue was broken and the other was found near the wreckage.
