television special present “Equator / Equator Caribbean”
Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), in a joint effort of the schools of Social Communication and Film, Television and Photography presented Hotline through the television special “Equator / Half of the Caribbean” on Wednesday June 12th at 5:00 pm in the auditorium of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences, Ricardo Michel.
According to a statement, Hotline is an informative television project run by students UASD Social Communication, with the slogan “An independent voice”, present a new form of journalism, objective and responsible.
“Equator / Middle of the Caribbean” is described as a proposed television presenting an overview of the XVI International Book Fair: Santo Domingo 2013, emphasizing the participation of the Republic of Ecuador in this event and highlighting the figure of the writer Hilma Contreras, first woman to win the National Book Award.
The program’s main objective nurturing of knowledge to the public on the national literature, from the perspective of its characters, and the importance and impact on the rhetoric of the annual book fair in promoting reading .
television special was produced by the team of television program and technical Hotline State Corporation Radio and Television (CERTV), under the direction of the teacher and Director of the School of Film, Television and Photography UASD, Agustin Cortes Robles.
