Alfonso Cuarón delve into the television - Brownsville Herald

The Oscar nominated Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón, will enter for the first time on television and is teaming with producer JJ Abrams in a new series.

The two have known each other 20 years ago and Abrams was eager to work with Cuarón. The Mexican is nominated for an Academy Award as best director for “Gravity” category for which has already won a Golden Globe

Cuarón did the idea of ??”Believe,” which will air on March 10 on NBC, while filming “Gravity” with Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. He contacted Abrams, who will co-executive producer of the series where the actors involved Delroy Lindo, Kyle MacLachlan and Jamie Chung.

Sunday, Cuarón joked at the Television Critics Association that after working in the space I wanted to do something where people were not floating. The new series is about a 10 year old girl with supernatural powers who is haunted by sinister forces.
