Sony bets on cloud TV service through ... - Terra.com

Sony Corp will begin testing a new cloud TV service that combines traditional transmission demand content through its PlayStation gaming system, which could change the long relationship between the cable industry and the media .

Sony executives described the service Tuesday as a mixture name live cable yet, demand content system and digital video recording DVR.

Speaking at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, promised an intuitive design for finding content, addressing a common complaint of consumers of cable television service.
